Eastern Iowa Motorcycle Accident Takes the Life of 21-Year-Old Man

On Monday, March 14, 2011, a West Branch man died in an Iowa motorcycle accident. Authorities said the motorcycle crash occurred in Muscatine County near Downey in eastern Iowa.

Tony D. Good, 21, was driving a 2005 Kawasaki around 2:30 p.m. when he apparently lost control of his motorcycle. Iowa State Patrol said that Good was traveling southbound on County Highway X30, one mile north of Highway 6 and near the Muscatine and Johnson-Cedar county lines, when the accident occurred.

According to the accident report, police indicated that Good lost control of the motorcycle veered into a roadside ditch where the bike came to a rest. The West Branch man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, and was killed in this Iowa motorcycle accident.

This fatal crash is still under investigation at this time by the Muscatine County Sheriff's Department, as it is unclear what caused the young man to lose control of the bike.

Tony D. Good is survived by his fiancée, Lindsay Schooley; his mother, Tina Schroder; his father, Randy Good; his sister, Shelby Good; his stepmother, Jill Good, and many other relatives including grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

We are sorry to hear of this tragedy and send our thoughts and condolences to Tony Good's family and friends during this difficult time.
