Facebook Privacy Breach

Earlier this month, the Wallstreet Journal reported that many Facebook applications, such as Farmville have been leaking information including Facebook users' names and possibly friends' names to advertising and marketing companies. This issue affects tens of millions of Facebook app users, likely including many Iowa residents. Most of the Facebook apps are not developed or made by Facebook. One of the most popular apps, Farmville, is made by Zynga Game Network Inc. Facebook has recently faced numerous criticisms regarding sharing user information.
