Two Drivers Injured in Fairfax Iowa Crash

One driver is in the intensive care unit at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics today and another remains hospitalized following a three-vehicle crash on Highway 151 in Linn County, Iowa Thursday morning. Joy Talley, 25, of Marion is being treated in the ICU for a head injury and Jeffrey Levsen, 45, of Marion, is in stable condition at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Talley was rear-ended by a semi driven by Max Stransky, 67, of Cedar Rapids around 8:00 a.m. yesterday. The crash sent Talley's SUV into the path of Levsen's pickup. The SUV sustained major damage and debris was littered across the highway. The pickup went off the road and down an embankment before coming to a stop. The highway was closed yesterday as officials dealt with the scene.
An investigation of the crash is continuing and charges are pending.
